Deborah Alleyne was promoted to the position of Senior Vice President, Excess Workers Compensation for ACE USA’s ACE Risk Management (ARM) division in October 2007. Ms. Alleyne oversees the national underwriting for ARM’s dedicated Excess Workers Compensation unit (centralized in Philadelphia). She’s responsible for managing stand-alone Excess Workers Compensation programs as well as ARM’s Texas Employers Excess Indemnity and Retention/Clash product offerings.
Ms Alleyne has 30 years of experience in the insurance arena. She began her insurance career with ACE predecessor organization Insurance Company of North American (INA) in 1977 in the underwriting program. She spent several years at AIG and Home Insurance, among other major carriers, prior to joining ACE.
Ms. Alleyne has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Pennsylvania and earned a Masters of Science degree in Insurance Management from Boston University. She holds professional designations for the following: Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU); Associate in Risk Management (ARM); Associate in Reinsurance (ARe); Associate in Management (AIM); and, Associate in Research and Planning (ARP).
