Karen Sawyer was promoted to the position of Executive Vice President, Business Development and Customer Retention for ACE USA’s ACE Risk Management (ARM) division in January 2007.  In this role, Ms. Sawyer will work with ACE USA Regional and Branch personnel, as well as management staff to develop, implement, track and control strategic plans for the growth and maintenance of the ARM customer base.  She will also work closely with other ACE USA executives and the ACE USA Regional team to further develop the Customer Segmentation process, the One ACE concept and other ACE strategies that focus on customer retention.

Ms. Sawyer has spent 35 years at ACE and its' predecessor company.  Through her career successes, she has embodied the phrase "rising through the ranks," beginning her career in the Operations area and holding a variety of  management positions in Underwriting, Marketing, Branch Management and ARM Home Office management.  Ms. Sawyer’s broad industry experience provides her with an important understanding of how all areas of the company can and should interact for the mutual benefit of the customer and the overall ACE organization.
